A Woman I Hope to Emulate...Happy Mother's Day!

This woman.

She inspires me.

She inspires others.

She can do anything.

She fears the Lord and is stunningly beautiful both inside and out.

I am blessed to call her Mother.

I am blessed to call her...friend.

Writing this post has been on my heart since I started to blog last year. To celebrate a woman who has had more influence on my life than any other...

To our family...she is the "Macgyver" of Home Creativity or anything crafty.

This lady was re-purposing before it was popular -- all you'd have to do is give her a handful of items and she would create something that would blow your mind with creativity.

She is also an insanely gifted artist. One of her latest that hangs in our home.

Looking back over the past year, I have poured my heart and soul into our Studio...

And one of the more precious aspects of doing what I adore with all of my being, is in part due to how much of it I learned from my amazing Mother.

(Mom ran a pre-school out of our home growing up. This is mom and me during what looks like a birthday celebration.)

She has taught me what it means to work hard, with integrity and showed me by example how to love on others as if they were family.

I so hope with all of my being that my tiny artists feel that love!

Watching her teach over the years has inspired me to always be more.

(And to always look your best while doing it  ;-)  -- (Spectacular 80's hair here mom ;-)

And I pray that the apple didn't fall too far from the tree when it comes to inspiring my students to be content and bloom in all of life's both beautiful and trying of circumstances!

And to love my family with every ounce of my being.

Today, I tip my hat to you my dear mom.

To thank you for your selfless love that is felt by all you meet.

Thank you for inspiring me to teach, holding nothing back and harnessing this God-given passion for the Glory of HIS name.

I pray I can be half the woman you are.

And now with our first baby girl on the way,... this is my prayer more than ever...

Happy Mother's Day, Mom!

Love you with all my heart...
